It is the duty and responsibility of parents, caregivers, and significant others to help every child to grow in a normal way (Lewis et al., 2016). Child abuse is one of the greatest hindrances in the way of normal growth and development of a child. It is a curse that has the potential to ruin the entire life of a child as every abused child has the tendency to carry the curse to the future course of life. Hence, child abuse should be stringently dealt with, and child abusers should not only be condemned but punished in such a way that it renders a deterrent effect on potential abusers.
